Planning and Roadmapping
12-week engagement
We build the roadmap, operating model, and rollout plan your organization can actually run. It’s our core product and where most client engagements start.
Over 12 weeks, we work with your team to produce:
- Unified roadmap with milestones and dependencies, sequenced around real organizational constraints
- Program structure architecture defining roles and decision rights, with clear escalation paths
- Risk register built through structured pre-mortem exercises, surfacing failure modes early
- Operating model covering governance cadence and the enablers your team can sustain after we leave
- Rollout and change management plan covering stakeholder communication and training, with a realistic view of adoption risk
The work follows a structured arc:
- Weeks 1–2: vision, scope, and pre-mortem
- Weeks 3–7: roadmap iterations and operating model sessions
- Weeks 8–10: rollout planning and change management
- Weeks 11–12: final readout and handoff
Visioning and Alignment
2–3 week sprint
A focused sprint that gets leadership aligned and produces clear direction your team can act on. We use this when leadership needs alignment before committing to a full planning engagement, or when a program needs to reset its strategic foundation.
Deliverables include:
- Vision document specific enough for leaders to commit resources
- Scope and guardrails defining what’s in, what’s out, and what gets decided later
- Decision system covering decision rights and tie-break rules, with a defined escalation cadence
- Priority and trade-off record documenting the choices leadership made and why
- Internal narrative giving the organization a clear, consistent story about what’s happening and why
Diligence
PE-style operational assessment that finds ROI-positive improvements before you commit resources. We evaluate how an organization actually operates across functions: where decisions are supposed to flow, and where they get stuck.
Useful when a leadership team needs an honest read on execution readiness before a major initiative, or when a private equity firm wants diligence on how the business actually operates.
Execution Support
Ongoing operational support that keeps cross-functional initiatives moving after the planning is done. We serve as the ExecOps layer: keeping decisions on time, dependencies managed, priorities held, and leaders aligned.
Execution Support typically runs three to six months and is built for programs that have a roadmap and operating model in place but need someone keeping the engine running. We coach leaders through the cadence and manage the governance rhythm so nothing falls through the cracks between functions.
